Mayo Clinic coaches are trained along national accreditation guidelines. Their strength-based approach is grounded in contributions from counseling psychology, positive psychology, prevention research, social work, solution focused therapy and motivational interviewing techniques.

ENGAGE: Build a trusting relationship with individuals and groups.
EXPLORE: Assist clients in identifying their values and desires.
ENVISION: Facilitate a vision for wellness.

Session Information
Typically, a series of 12 coaching sessions over 12 weeks is recommended. The first 5–7 sessions will likely be in person, with the option to Skype or FaceTime for the remaining sessions.
